The Slater Family
The Slater family was established on March 20, 1964 when J. Marvin Slater and Sue Black were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They have lived in Pleasant Grove, UT, Rexburg, ID, Damascus, MD, and currently reside in American Fork, UT. They have been blessed with seven wonderful children (plus four incredible in-laws): Brad (and Kim), Rod (and Jenny), Vince, Julie (and Ryan), Ryan (and Candace), Katie, and Travis. They also have 10 of the most adorable grandchildren. I would say that one of the most important things to Sue is that she has a close family. By creating this site, we will be able to keep each other up to date on the "goings-on" in our family.

Dear Julie, Thank you for the nice thoughts and for the up-dated? picture of me and your mother for my birthday. You have no idea how your mother and I stood out back then,especially w/mother w/the flamingo sitting on top of her head and me w/my white sport coat and blue bow/tie. No your were right we were up-town,in style,top dancers, I was w/the best looking/sharpist girl around,and everyone knew it. So now you know why I was "it" or is it the "clear it". Since no one commended I just had to, Not everyone has privy to that special one of a century pic that will go down in infamy. Does that read like I thought we were the clear it, Sorry, you have to get accolades some way, I guess that is what you resort to when your 66 years old. I had a great birthday thanks to special children like you. Thank you for remembering your ole dad even thought I don't count them anymore, Love Dad
