We thought we'd share a couple of pics from our vacation at home this summer. Thank you all for such great time. We miss you already and can't wait to see you again soon.

The Slater Family
The Slater family was established on March 20, 1964 when J. Marvin Slater and Sue Black were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They have lived in Pleasant Grove, UT, Rexburg, ID, Damascus, MD, and currently reside in American Fork, UT. They have been blessed with seven wonderful children (plus four incredible in-laws): Brad (and Kim), Rod (and Jenny), Vince, Julie (and Ryan), Ryan (and Candace), Katie, and Travis. They also have 10 of the most adorable grandchildren. I would say that one of the most important things to Sue is that she has a close family. By creating this site, we will be able to keep each other up to date on the "goings-on" in our family.

What a happy surprise for me when I took a peek at our family blog, and actually there were two posts I hadn't seen! It has been a long time since anyone posted, so I was out of the habit of looking. Those pictures are priceless! I can almost hear my grandchildren laughing and yelling! And your family picture is really outstanding! You are all so good-looking, and look so natural with those amazing smiles! I couldn't beg a copy of those pics, could I? I DO have plans to put my pics to good use. We thought it was a very fun and fulfilling family vacation time. We so much enjoyed each and every minute spent with you all. Oh no! Now I am saying "you all"! It was fun times, and we look very forward to all being together again. We also look forward to seeing Candace and Jack again soon; and then visiting you in October. Thank you so much for the post. I know that Julie will get at it again soon, since she will be settling in shortly in Reno. Also, I know that Rod truly wants to get in on the blogging fun.
