Family Togetherness
Hi Family ~~ I was just talking with Kim about the importance of getting family together for the "bonding". Anyway, we need to be making some plans, if possible, for a time we can all be together this coming summer. They are already getting their summer filled. So, we need to know, Ryan Albert, when you, Candace and Jack might be coming into Utah. And we need to know, Julie, if you, Ryan Christopher, Sophie, Tyler and Lily will be able to come in from Reno during the summer? Hopefully, Travis will be able to break away from Denver for a planned Reunion. It would be nice to have some ideas of something extra fun we could do all together. Since we have "out-of-Staters", it almost needs to be something quite memorable so the kids remember their cousins. You guys are a lot better with ideas, than I am. You are a lot more fun! Brad and Kim; Rod and Jenny and their families will come up with some ideas. The kids are a great resource for fun ideas. Let us know as soon as possible, so we can get scheduled. Love you all! Mom

Are you kidding? Of course we will be coming home during the summer! I plan on making as many trips as possible! At this point, I really have no idea for dates, and we don't know what Ryan's situation will be, but even if it was just me and the kids, then Ryan could fly in for the weekend.
As far as where to go...hmmmmmm, it has been so long since I have lived in Utah that I don't even know what there is to do! I am thinking everyone may need to plan a Lake Tahoe trip sometime in summer of 2008 though. I am all about making plans for that!
You know, I haven't thought a lot about it, but you mentioned that there might be some in the family getting Lagoon passes, and that is something that I think would be fun. It doesn't have to be a "reunion" thing, but I'd like to do that this summer. I'll keep thinking.
This summer will not be one that I look back on with fondness! However, maybe we can plan something to change that. I take my board exams on June 18th, so you can guess what I'll be doing up until then. I start my first rotation on July 2nd, so that leaves a fairly small window for me. Candace and I have our 5-year anniversary on June 29th as well. It is likely that I will come home for those 2 weeks, but we haven't decided for sure. Candace and Jack will definitely be coming home - probably the first part of June. I'll let you know what I know when I know something - cause I know nothing at the moment!
