So, BYU-I decides to invest in a new football field. Yeah, they're pretty anal about alot of stuff up here...paying $5 parking tickets on time, minuscule facial hair, wearing sandals and other stupid stuff like that. However, they do feel in necessary to invest 850,000 dollars into new turf at the football stadium with a 20,000 cleaning machine. Now, I love football and I love BYU but honestly....why invest in a sport that you don't even have a program for? O-well, it makes for a good saturday night activity. We almost got a trespassing ticket though. (I've found that it is almost impossible to have fun without getting in trouble.) Anyways, things are good and I had a really good time this weekend. One day maybe you'll meet her!

Oh, come on Trav, BYU-I isn't that bad is it? J/K. I'm just glad we got you there - ha, ha! So just curious, are there any plans to bring back the football program? I thought it was so weird that they took it away in the first place, because it gave the students something to do. (We know that you have to be really creative in Rexburg). Why don't you try out the stag dances. They used to be great. Meredith and I used to rock the house. We had swarms of people surrounding us. J/K. Somehow I can't invision you there. Hey, do they still have roller skating on Monday nights? Just thinking about this stuff makes me laugh. How corny!
Thanks for the pic. Glad you had a good weekend with mom and dad. I spoke with dad on Monday and it sounded like he was truly disappointed that you were gone. I almost detected a tear in his eye! Oh, empty nesters!
You can't put a pricetag on some things - I guess it's clear that the Brethren understand that! Maybe they just hate mowing the lawn as much as you do! Field-turf is sweet, except for the idea of having ground up tires in your mouth when you get tackled.
Glad to hear you had a good time at home. I know Mom and Dad enjoyed it. Hey, Cedar Point opens up next month - and you're always welcome!
Hey, Trav ~~ We are all vicariously enjoying your "college days". It looks fun, but PLEASE DO STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!! When you get a minute, please post some more pics, and tell us some of your adventures!
Love you, Mom
